2/22/07: Rudy French: (Katrina Clean-Up Continues)

Rudy and his wife locked up their home a year and a half ago, and went to serve those who come to serve the victims of Hurricane Katrina. This lofty call for this former pastor began with three months of hauling kitchen trash and some grumbling. He soon found himself standing beside the dumpster covered from head to toe with wet, stinky, nasty kitchen garbage in one of those incredibly powerful 'God Moments'. This is his story.

It has been called the greatest Christian work since the C. S. Lewis classic Mere Christianity. Although this new book Jerry Newcombe co-authored with D. James Kennedy may or may not prove to be a classic on that level… the devontial styled book Cross Purposes does offer some unique traits. Jerry and Gene chat about the book, dimishing faith within America, and whether or not 20% of the population is enough Christians to be considered a "good amount". Jerry and Gene disagree on this."

2/12/07: Dwight Alexander: (author, "Through These Doors")

A husband, and father gets a phone call at a convention. There has been a terrible car accident. His wife was dead, and his two sons are almost dead with little chance of survival. 2/7/07: Dr. Tawfik Hamid: (Fomer Terrorist speaks out from exile)

Dr. Hamid joins Gene from his exiled home. His book explains the depravity of some of the teachings of Islam. Teachings that not only encourage, but demand the death of the infidels…anyone who is not a follower of Mohammed. As a former terrorist himself, Dr. Hamid knows what the 'West' needs to do to win the war on terror... but has his doubts we will do it.

2/1/07: Jonathan Miller: (Program Director, Teen Challenge)

Teen Challenge has an incredible success rate in the Drug rehab world. Jonathan Mill, Program Director at the Duluth facility, joins Gene to discuss why. He even brought along a couple of guys who tell us their stories in their own words. Very powerful. Don't think this is program toughes your life... Think again. Every person who uses illicit drugs directly effects at least 5 other people... and a minimum of 23 MILLION people have used illicit drugs in the past month!
