4/23/07: Nancy Anderson, Exec. Dir. Falls Hunger Coalition: (The Face of Hunger)

When you think of starving people, people who need help getting food, our thoughts immediately go to poor "third nation" countries. The ones we see on TV a lot. Truth is, there are millions of hungry men, women & children within the boundaries of the United States. Truth is, there are men, women & children going to be hungry more nights than not in Northern Minnesota. Truth is... you really should listen to this chat.

Joe Sabah joins Gene as a memorial to Gene's Mom who passed away 4 years earlier, on this day. One reason was her lack of recovery from a stroke suffered the previous Thanksgiving. Joe was a vibrant and successful man who taught many the inner workings of media, then one morning he couldn't get out of bed. He had suffered a stroke during the night.
