It's not that easy. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have classified sexual abuse as an epidemic. The numbers are staggering. What can we do? It starts by bringing the subject to light, and this is one of the, if not THE best places to begin. Marjorie is honest...painfully honest, about her past. But she also offers hope, help & healing. Yes, the television networks are the ones who are in charge of making sure that don not go too far. That plan is NOT working. Even the Federal government says so with a report on TV Violence recently released by the FCC. 3/23/07: George & Kathy Schultz: (Center for Intercultural Training)

Not so much from a Biblical or "G-D's call" point… but more from a "we didn't know" point as far as foreign cultures. It is logical to assume that other countries customs do not mirror our own. It is logical to assume that we do not know the 'ins & outs' of appropriate social & business behavior in other parts of the world. What is NOT logical, is to assume that these missionaries will somehow gain this knowledge while on the plane flying to this new country.
